There are so many ways to enjoy a visit to Bartholomew Estate! Whether you are looking to unwind or explore, enjoy sipping wine from our organic estate, taking in the vineyard views, hiking the trails, picnicking in the park or riding horseback through the vineyard. We can’t wait to welcome you!
Tasting by Appointment
10 am to 4:30 pm (Thursday – Monday). Must be 21 years or older to be seated. As all tastings are outside, please bring warm layers to enjoy the brisk fall weather.

Sample a flight of 4 wines from our certified organic estate vineyards or select wines by the glass (or bottle). Flights and by-the-glass options are conducted seated outside on our beautiful Oak Knoll overlooking the vineyards, or in our Courtyard Patio (weather permitting). View tasting menu here. Advanced reservation required for all seated options. $25 per person/flight.
Bottles to go! Purchase in advance online for curbside delivery (reservation required to bring order out for you) or stop into the winery retail room to make your selections for a picnic in Bartholomew Park or to take home. We’d love to help you help you select the perfect wine! Check out our wine store.
Sonoma Valley Trail Rides will guide guests on horseback through the Bartholomew Estate historic vineyards. Enjoy a 45-minute ride where you will take in picturesque views of the estate. Included in your package is a bottle of Bartholomew Estate wine (your choice of Sauvignon Blanc or Zinfandel) to take home or enjoy at the winery. Reservation required (booked through Sonoma Valley Trail Rides site). $140 per person.
Offered Thursdays – Mondays at 11 am, 12 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
Please email us or call 707.509.0540 if you are unable to reserve the time of your choosing online or if you would like to inquire about private group tastings or small private events at the winery. Vehicles larger than 18 person vans are not permitted on the estate property.
Wine to Go: 10 am to 4:30 pm (Thursday – Monday). Wine & Govino glasses available for purchase to enjoy in the park or to go.
Outside Food: Our permit does not allow food in the Oak Knoll tasting space but picnicking is permitted in the park.
Dog friendly: Dogs must remain on leash at all times.
Explore the 3-mile trail taking in the duck pond and windmill, weaving through mature oaks, madrones, redwoods and vineyards.
